Why would an amazing car manufacturer like Porsche offer their cars with manual transmission only? Besides, the suv has auto transmission too. Ive been inside one.

The base (VR6) Cayenne can be had with either a 6 speed stick or the ''Tiptronic'' transmission, which is an automatic transmission that can be used in a manual mode (or fully automatic, you pick). Check the link below, you will see there are two columns.

The S (with the V8) is Tip (auto) only, but the GTS can be had either way too.

No both theses cars can be had in either manual or automatic. The automatic mode is know as ''tiptronic'' & suits the car quite well. You can however have the bottom of the range Cayenne with a manual transition. l think it is a six speed.

All the cars Porsche made today, except the special track days ones (gt2,gt3) come with a manual transmition. The cayenne comes as standard with an auto, however all of the others 911, boxster, Cayman, come with a manual as standard.
