Porsche is mostly German, part Finnish, part Austrian. Dodge is mostly American, part Canadian, part Mexican. BMW is mostly German, part American (plant in South Carolina), part Austrian.

Well this depends on what u consider the nationality of the car to be; the Name Brand is home base of operations, or where it is assembled, or where more than 50% of it is parts come from?

Most cars we think of as ''American'' these days r actually Japanese or European by design & or parts.

Chrysler is have been built with Mitsubishi engines & some of their cars used Mercedes-Benze parts.
Ford is used Mazda drive trains, heck the Mercury Villager was a Nissan Quest.
GM, a lot of Opel stuff these days. And the Saturn Vue V6 was a Honda engine.

Porsche is German.

VW, Porsche, Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Smart, Maybach, New Mini, Skoda, and Seat are all German cars.
