It Has A Stock Cassette Player In It
Its A Gift And Id Consider Getting A 911 Turbo

First you'd need a universal mounting kit and then a wiring harness adaptor that will allow the factory stereo plugs to connect to it and the new CD player.It might cost you 15 or 20 bucks for the adaptor and about 20 to 30 bucks for the universal mounting kit but basically it is pretty easy to install.

Step Two: Bring to Dealer, and ask them to install.

Really, you do not want to get messing with the electronics in a German car, trust me. After blowing fuses in both my BMWs, i've since given up and just paid the dealers to do it right the first time.

Your existing Radio/ Cassette Player may have the controls that will work with a in the trunk Porsche CD Player. l would look on line or ebay & find a Porsche Radio Head and/or a CD Player that came with a Porsche, or a Porsche Radio with a CD Player. l had an older 911 (1991) & added the CD Player to the already installed Radio/Cassette Radio Head Unit. It needed the CD Player, a Special Cable to connect the units & a bracket to mount the player in the truck just as if the Factory had put it in when they built the car. Also, if u can not find the Porsche Player, the radios r made either by Blaupunkt, Becker, or Alpine. These will mate electronically with the proper wiring.
