Has anyone ever felt like the clutch ''kicks'' your foot out upon engagement? I've driven several S/C and Turbo cars that l simply could not control the clutch pedal on. Some people say it is just me but l only have this trouble on some of these cars. Is there a problem with some years?
It is like the clutch starts to engage smoothly and just goes over center and kicks my foot out. l seem to not be able to stop it even being ready for it to happen.

I've come across a problem similar to what u describe on the G50 equipped cars, when the helper spring on the clutch pedal is broken. but the cars u cite r cars equipped with either the 915 or 930 transmissions. As the 915 & 930 r both cable driven clutches, it may also just be where the engagement point is & a little adjustment might make a difference in feel.'

Though, if the problem is consistent among all older 911/930s u r driving, it may just be the nature of those clutches (which will feel stiffer than u may be used to from other cars).
