when did they introduce the new style (08 model) cayenne? also i'm considering getting the last model (04-06 model) instead of a new one and save 50k, but will people really notice the difference?in a very image conscious town (hollywood...)

Well if you're asking when they introduced the new body of the 08 model, and you're thinking abotu getting the 04-06. l am going to have to say they introduced it in 2007. But no people wouldnt' really notice the difference. People drive nice cars in Cali all the time. It is nothing new. I'd go with the cheaper one. Same car, just new body, and a bit more power.

In looks, you can tell the difference since the new Cayenne has very different headlights.

But in performance, the old Cayenne is almost as fast as the new one. And the old Cayenne is the 2nd fastest production SUV in the world.

Get the previous model. Looks better and is half the price.

And just because you live in an image conscious town doesnt mean you have to be as concieted as they are. If they refuse to be seen around you because you drive a couple year old, hundred plus thousand dollar SUV because its not ''cool enough do you really want to be aroun dthem anyways? Seriously.


With the money you save you could buy a 2003 or so 911 turbo to go along with your cayenne..

Get the new one always, usually a new car is better if you are not conserned about money
