am rebuilding 3.0 cis have shimmed ,valve and piston clearance ? for 964 camshaft can l get away with adjustingvalves.?

The OEM specs r given in the 911 SC fact booklets available from the Porsche dealers. Or u can look up that info on the Porsche website under Porsche classic. Another reference book to get is the one by Wayne Dempsey (owner & author of Pelicanparts.com) & the one by Bruce Anderson. l do not understand ur question about can u get away with adjusting the valves??? People have used the 964 cams but is it really meant for the CIS fuel injection application in a 3.0L versus the 3.6L engine? If u r about to undertake a rebuild of the 3.0L it will costs u around $5000 in parts & machining outsourced labor as well as $5000 in assembly labor to get a proper professional result.
