Wow, really depends on the model, mileage, general condition and year. l will say that if you're buying from a dealer and that is the list price, you can certainly do better.
I'd suggest either kelley blue book, kbb.com or NADA, nada.com to get the used car values. Be sure to look at both retial and trade in values.

It could be a good price, but keep in mind that the price will be relative to what kind of Porsche it is, as well as how old it is and the condition that it is in. It could be a very good price for that car simply because that is what the car is worth. We need to know the type of car and how old it is in order to fully help you out.

this question obviously can not be answered without more information.
What year, what model, what condition? That is a good start.
You do not realize this?
What do you know about?
Is $40 too much for a shirt?
Is $60 too much for a pair of shoes?
Nobody can answer these questions without more information
Ugh - can be such a waste of time

It depends on the kind of Porsche, the year of Porsche, the mileage it has and the condition it is in.
Show us a picture or something.

For a Porsche newer than 2005, that is a normal price for a Porsche Boxster or Cayman.

For a Porsche 911 newer than 2005, $60,000 is a normal price.

For a Porsche from the 1990's, the Boxsters cost $18,000-30,000 and the Porsche 911 is cost around $50,000.

Whats the year make and model? Might be a good price for a late model. Need more info.

This well depend entirely on which used Porsche u r talking about. $47k for a used 996 GT3 would be close to half of current market value, while that same $47k would be above the high end for a '93 RSA, & outrageously high for something like a 951, no matter how good of condition it happened to be in.

So, not having any frame of reference to give u an answer, l can only recommend that u compare asking prices for similar cars. Excellence Magazine publishes used Porsche buying guides. & while they only cover a couple models in each issue they get through the entire range each each & they might have older copies at ur local library. Also, check with the website for ur local Porsche Club chapter as they may be able to provide good local references (as well as there want ads to compare pricing).

depends on what model and year of car

For a used porsche boxster S, $47,000 is very expensive

For a used porsche cayman, the price is acceptable

And for a used porsche 911, the price is too good to be true

What type? if it is a 911, yes!

Could you be anymore vague?

It is a good price for any non Boxter that is no older than 2004.

Be more specific about what model it is.

first go to NADA.com and put in mileage and see what it says its worth. then lower that price by about 15-20 %

cars are dropping in price right now as the economy is slowing
aeroz     Reply with quote
Oh yes. It is truly a good value

Depends on the model/year/mileage

A boxter is not the same as a 911
