obviously it would be almost impossible to find one thats new, but how much would a really good 04 boxster go for in 2020-2030? Assuming there are still gas stations around. ALSO, HOW MUCH DOES ONE OF THESE GO FOR NOW?

It would be nearly impossible to know what it will be worth in the future, there are way too many factors to consider.
A standard 2004 Boxster would currently around $30,000 used at a dealership.

Right now, it would cost around $35,000-40,000 depending on condition and mileage. In 10-20 years, it should cost around $10,000. After 25 years, it will be considered a classic car and the value will stop decreasing and slowly start to increase.

A lot less than you will pay for it now. Its not a classic car so its value is unlikely to rise.

Just look at 10-20 year old 911 prices(OMG) they will hold their value. Me l want a 30 year old 911 and they are still in the stratosphere and only getting higher. They are 5-10X the sticker when new!
The Boxter is actually going to go through a limited time when it is just a used car. You need to strike then and hang on to it afterwards. Then it will begin appreciation.

They will be a good performance buy in years to come but parts will be costly. l wouldnt mind a Boxter or a Cayman which is a boxster with a roof should have named it the coxster.

well thats an almost impossible question that u r asking there my friend because u can never know when the economical demand for a product will increase or decrease in the next 20-25 years down the line.
well probably 15 years from now it will still have $10,000 if not $12,000 as the newer generation models have proven to hold there resale value much longer then the previous generation Boxsters & if u add another 10 years (2030) well by then it will have almost (nearly 50 or so %) the same value as a 930 911 Porsche holds today & let me tell u 930 is r pretty expensive these days infact a fully maintained 930 will go as high as a brand new 997 911 Carrera.
