Between New York & Washington D.C.

you might be able find a Porsche Boxster between 1997 and 1999 for anywhere between $10,000 and $15,000 but thats just to an extent of my knowledge and how much these things cost in here Kuwait, l cant tell how much they'l cost in NYC or D.C, why not try eBay.

The early 2.5L Boxsters r available at some attractive prices. but $10k would be on the very very low side. You might find one for this price, but the likelyhood would be that it would not be a car u would want to own.

When u purchase a used Porsche, always make sure u have a knowledgeable mechanic inspect the car. The money spent here will help save what could be great expense in the future.

Lastly, if u r on a tight budget of $10k, it may be best to wait until u have a little more financial flexibility. both to help u pursue what might be a superior car that costs a couple thousand more. But also because, even though Porsches r very reliable & well built cars, when there r problems, they will likely be expensive & more in line with the car is original price.

There are, keep checking Autotrader or cars.com.. Just keep in mind that the overall build quality of the boxster is surprisingly not up to par with Porsche is reputation. Do some research before you buy. l love Porsche, but the boxster-even though it is an awesome concept- may best be over looked in favor of a BMW Z-3 or Miata.

l worked at a car lot where we sold a 1998 Boxster with scratches and a broken roof and over 50,000 miles for $18,000.

/ A very nice Boxster for $17,097.00 was the lowest l could find (in Maryland).

l agree with another post, that a BMW Z3 would be a more fantastic car than a Boxster.

There is a link below from Ebay, and the highest bid was $10,600.00 at the time l pasted the link, but it is a Florida car (which I'd never buy), and the reserve was not met.

ahaha good luck! probably not. if there is they are probably in the junk yard. not trying to be an ass or anything. they are just so expensive and the only way they are gonna be that cheap is if they have been wrecked or damaged.

DON'T GET ONE

if you do not mind it being 1/24 scale model. Your best bet for a Porsche under 10K is ether a 944 or if you do not mind the ugliness, the 924. now that l think about it my buddy fond a 912 (911 with lesser 4 cylinder) for just a bit over 10K.

l am sure there are: with high miles, salvage title, no service history, crash damage, etc. There is no such thing as a cheap porsche, and if you do find a Boxster cheap, it is going to kill you on repairs.

Remember the old adage: u get what u pay for. A Porsche Boxster is a very well made sports car, but a good one will run about 17-20K. If u can not pay this much, do not consider the Boxster. A poorly maintained Boxster will cost u too much in repair bills. A Boxster that has been in an accident will problably have many issues = $$$. A high mileage Boxster is asking for trouble, again there is a high cost of maintenance. Also remember that Porsche parts r very expensive!

If u want a $10K car, stick with cars that sell for that price (average selling price). Never try to get the cheapest car out there, because 999 out of 1000 times, there is something wrong with it.
