It is a 1973 Porsche 914.It is 1.7 L. It has 77,000 miles on it.Two previous owners. New paint and rims, both Porsche acceptable.Good condition.

Well, it wo not fetch masses, but you could get about £20k max. Depends on a lot of stuff. If there is a porche owners club or similar near you go to them for a price.

The 1.7 liters could actually been badged as a vw-porsche also, but not many had VW on them. I'd say, if there is no rust, especially on the rocker panels, and has no bondo or terrible mechanical conditons, It could fetch around $6000. They are starting to gain in value now since they are becoming rare and are occasionally turned into racecars. They really rip with a 350 smallblock in them! But the best conversion you can give them is to drop a Porsche flat-six in it.

there is a little bit of history about the 914..it was a nightmare with Porsche VW & Opel.5 engineers (apprentice type) put this thing together.it was unique to say the least.it was called the ''poor mans porsche''.the ones that r still around will pull in some money but not that much...parts were the demise of the ''flat creature''..a good one maybe $4500..depending on the mileage..VW still makes the engine..not for commercial use.usually industrial..the emissions on the engine choked it to death.hold on to the car.dont sell it .store it on blocks & do the things required for ''AAAA'' storage...good luck!!
