l have a 2006 BMW X5 4.4i and as much as l adore it, it is a little too big and l think I am going to trade it in for a Cayenne S. l test drove a regular Cayenne a few months ago and it was really phenomenal and I am told the S is even better, but l really love BMW is and the way they drive, so should l just get the newer X5 since it is slightly smaller and more aerodynamic, go for the X3 since it is way smaller or just get the Cayenne S? Here is what options l have on the X5 and am planning to get on the Cayenne S if it helps:
On the X5 l have:
Black metallic paint
Beige leather interior
Navigation and satellite radio
Cold weather package
Back seat entertainment system
Xenons
Adaptive lighting
What I am planning to get on the Cayenne S:
White exterior
Black Alcantara leather ($2500)
Front sport seats with memory
Sport design package
Cold weather design package
Navigation and satellite radio
So what do you think? If l got the newer X5 or X3 l would get the same options as l had in the old BMW. I am really interested to hear your opinions!

The Porsche is definitely the best handling midsized SUV and the fastest if you get the Cayenne Turbo.

The X3 would be the logical choice with todays gas prices. You can still get everything you get in the BMW X5 and Cayenne, except the V8 engine.

The Cayenne turbo is just a 911 in a new package. GO PORSCHE!

The BMW is an outstanding automobile. Wonderful engineering, great handling. l just happen to think the Porsche is the better of the two choices.
Whichever one you choose, l hope you have a wonderful experience!

The BMW SUV is seem to be very long on sport, but short on everything else. The Cayenne S is a true Porsche, and coddles it is occupants as well, so why not have your cake and eat it too.

Good luck!
