Start at the book value. Next have a mechanic look at it. Drive it checking the Tranny! Especially check for trouble downshifting. Make sure the present owner did not beat up on the transmission. Check the interior. Does it look new? If not, then the owner did not take good care of the car. Next, ask the owner if they belong to the Porsche Club. Ask what chapter?
