Valve seals are starting to go.

Blue smoke indicates you are getting oil into the cylinders. There can be various sources but the easiest and cheapest would be the EGR-valve which is located in the valve cover. Burning oil is a progressive deterioration of your motor and should be looked at by a qualified mechanic to prevent a major repair.

That is a sign of oil in the cylinders, which is burning off when u start up. This could be a sign that u r having valve issues (simple as worn seals, or more serious with valve guide wear). or, it is just normal:

The layout of a boxer engine will often lead to oil pooling at the bottom of the cylinders, & some blue smoke on start up. If u r getting more than you've had in the past, the most likely cause is that the car has been sitting longer without being used.

Drive it regularly for a few days & see if it keeps up. And be sure to check ur oil levels as u will likely need to add some (which u should be doing anyway).
