only after a rough estimate so when my garage comes back to me l dont get ripped off. Its solely the brakepads on a porsche 911 (996) that need replacing. After a rough price on parts / labour. Thx.

parts range from 65.00 - 145.00 for the pads themselfves, and as far as l can see as long as the rotors are in good shape and can be used again without machining, your looking at about 1 hour repair time per side for this car depending on year.

So at 45.00 per hour totalling 90.00 for the job
and the 65.00 - 150.00 for parts

Labor could be 2 to 3 hours easy if they clean & inspect things well. Front pad set is $32-500 depending on which u choose, rears $50-375. You will also need Brake Pad Vibration Dampers, they r sticky back & should only be used once. They run about $100 for the fronts & $50 for the rear. You should be able to turn the rotors & if they do this in house they get about $10-20 each to resurface them. It would also be a good time to flush the brake fluid & that should be an hour labor. You will also need the brake pad wear sensors which l have only once been able to reuse them. They r $10 for each pad set.

Add it up & it looks pretty scary, just the cost of fun.
