Cayenne?

Not sure, never driven one. l am not generally a fan of 4 x 4s as they do not usually handle so well. The Porsche Cayenne is based on the VR Toureg, which seems a bit poor for a £60k car.

Generally l like the car. What l do not like is that Porsche has essentially detuned it so that it does not outperform its flagship 997 car.

l am not normally an SUV person. l like cars & motorcycles & normally loath SUV's. BUT, there is just something about the Cayenne S: It goes, handles, & stops in a way that no 5000lb vehicle should be able to. It is, however, very politically incorrect with shameful fuel consumption & criminal levels of greenhouse gas emissions.

These comments do not apply to the regular Cayenne, which is quite bland when compared with the Cayenne S.

As an actual owner of a Cayman S l can say l like it.but not love it.

At the time l had the option to buy either a 911 or cayman S & l went with the cayman for a few reasons.
l love the way it looks & the interior was identical to the 911.this was actually the reason l went with Porsche over the Vette.

The downfalls r that u cannot decline the seat to much as the motor sits behind you. Additionally the car is a little on the load side.

Other than that l dont have any complaints minus the lack of ipod/bluetooth hook up features however l think that its an option on the new model.

l am a member at caymanclub.net & u can find out much more about the cayman from real owners.

p.s. wait tell 2010 l think the new model is coming out with all the updates.worse case u can get a deal on the outgoing model

Yes, it is actually my favorite car in the world, and l have driven many sports cars and over 250 cars total.

l like it because it is one of the best handling cars in the world.
-Fastest car under 300HP.
-Faster than some cars around a race track that have 500HP+
-Very fuel efficient.
-Looks
-According to many magazines and tv shows that tested it, the Cayman S is one of the most fun cars to drive in the world.

Definitely will since it is just as fast as a 997 911 Carrera 4S which is the best non motor sport specified 911 as long as l do not have care about how ugly it is without its optional Aero package although once the Aero package is added the fact that the Cayman S has a Carrera GT roof is quite apparent but its one of the most reliable cars there is & is more than the popular Japanese cars which r reliable at the Pub according to the people mostly socialist that want to hail them on something since they r all-round rubbish & completely horrid to own relative to a Porsche or even a VW but the looks of the 2009 Porsche Cayman S do make a deal breaker but if u can afford a 911 go for the 911 instead which is better & the best car in production & probably of all time that u can buy today which ever 911 u buy.
