I am 6'5'' and about 280lbs, and l know l can not fit in a Miata. I am looking at buying one and I'd like to know before l drive 100 miles to be disappointed.

My son is 6'3'' and he used to drive my 73. He said that it had more leg room than any car he had ever driven. You sit real low with your legs almost straight out in front of you.
l would be more concerned about the condition of the floor pan since at 280 lbs you exceed the design limits for that seat and car.

probably not. the leg room may be sufficient, but l find with those little sports cars l slam the door on my shoulder all the time.

The car is too low to the ground, the car seat does not slide back far enough to have my arms extended comfortably,

And l have to remove the top because l do not like my head rubbing on the roof.

You could probably fit in a 914, but you are not going to be able to have any passngers that are older that 5. 914s and 924s cannot hold much weight.
