Ive done loans for 15 years. Ive done loans for people that r experts at reparing transmissions & experts at reparing all types of engines. Those with 15+ years experience & highly specialized, make around 70-80 K a year. Less then 5 years l would say around 25-40K. l assume its going to be about the same in any shop. Unless u r highly speciallized in something nobody else can do.

But l assume these people l do loans for would be going after the same job as you. Thats ur competition. .

l know an Infiniti and Nissan master tech. He has over 20 years of experience and knocks down right at $100k. He is probably in the top 3-5% of all techs.
