Well yeah my dad was being dumb and he l left the key in the ingnition ( the car engine wasnt on) just the lights and all a/c and stuff overnight. So we bought a battery charger it worked for 1 hour then it died again so we just decided to buy a new one. Which battery would be the best for it?

Whatever battery was in it was probably the one you should buy. That said, you should probably just jump start it, and drive it around for a good half hour or so. if the charging system is working correctly, it will rejuvenate the battery, so no need to buy a new one.

any ''yellow top'' battery works great, go to auto zone, auto value any auto parts store should have them

The OPTIMA battery is the best they run about $200 and are completely sealed
They are available at auto zone and maybe elsewhere

Batterys generally last for 5 years, u r right at the edge of that. l suspect that the battery has seen better days. The Porsche factory battery otherwise known as OEM would be my first choice to replace the used up one. However, that being said, the next choice would be the optima battery.
It is one of the best on the market so, if u can not locate the OEM part, the Optima would be as good. Check the entire charging system before buying a battery, just to be on the safe side though.
That is my opinion, Rick

as long as the battery is the correct form factor (size/shape), it doesnt matter. Pretty much all batteries last about the same amount of time. A cheap battery wont hurt your car, and a good one wont do anything any better.
