With care a Porsche or BMW engine will last up to 800 000 km but with misuse the will breakdown within 15 000 km.

These engines range between great & pure technical class, so high mileage is no particular issue with ethese cars. As u probably know, engine life is dependent on use & maintenance - & some of these cars r very advanced & quite expensive to maintain.

Make sure u r not getting stuck with someone elses high mileage money pit.
