Porsche, bar none. Both excellent cars, but Porsche are a bit more expensive and less common on the roadways.

depends... porsche is been around longer, been in the high performance seen for just a bit longer. but bmw is working on a lot as a company porsche isnt, like hydrogen. (they've already released a completely hydrogen-fueled car for lease)

PORSCHE. Anyone can buy a BMW, but you have to be pretty wealthy to get a Porsche. The majority of the models are at $100k. Plus there are more rare models than BMW (959)

Porsche makes sports cars, BMW makes sporty sedans, both are drivers cars. If you are mainly concerned about prestige you deserve to drive a Buick.

to the person who said, porsche because its for rich people. thats false. anyone can also buy a porsche. the only reason why there r more bmw is than porsche is r because bmw offers more sedans, which fits a whole lot of peoples life style. porsche only offers the cayenne, which is something good for a small family. they r both excellent cars, but since porsche is known for ''performance even though everyone has caught up, it still makes u say ''WOW!'' or at least, ''thats a nice car''.

BMW makes some decent cars, but few of them have stood the test of time, like shall we say the 911?

A BMW is on every street corner driven by 90% of people who lease them(and like most luxury cars, cannot afford them). Typically, someone who drives a Porsche want is whats on the inside, not whats percieved from the outside.

Porsche. BMW is good for luxury cars, but porsches are definitely more more prestigious, although that does not necessarily mean that porsches are more expensive.
And to Alex, if you think anyone can drive cars that START at $45,000, you are dead wrong.

BMW makes High end luxury sedans, that is what they are known for. Porsche makes High Performance Sports cars made specifically for one reason: going fast.

Porsche is more prestigious of the two.
