Hey! Guys! what do u think of the latest Porsche cayenne Turbo

While l admire Porsche cars (and own a Boxster S), and they have a long storied history of racing, l do not think SUVs and speed are the right mix. It is only a personal opinion. The Utility Vehicle part is missing when you are running street tires and engines which produce power at high RPMs, when what you need in a utility vehicle is lugged tires and engines with lots of torque for low RPMs. And for Sport - the 911 and Boxster will eat a Cayenne alive on a race track.

l am kinda biased (my website is http://porscheuniverse.com ) but in all honesty, there is no automobile in the class of the Cayenne Turbo.

6,000 pound car thats as fast as the outgoing M3 on a racetrack. Good offroad, better on-road, comfy, powerful, stops like crazy, and overall a pretty cool ride.

l drove my neighhbors turbo and was very impressed.

l read the article where they tested them in the sand dunes outside Dubai. They seem pretty off-the-hook incredible. From a practicality standpoint, l just do not get the concept of an SUV that can go that fast; but hey, how practical is the Bugatti Veyron, and that is one hell of a cool car!
