Pronunciation of ''Porsche''
''Porsche a proper name, is originally pronounced as, PORSH-uh (IPA /ˈpɔɹʃə/) (correct pronunciation (help·info)), which is how members of the Porsche family pronounce their name.
Some tend to vocalize the e, which results in Por-SCHA (/pɔɹˈʃʌ/). Others, particularly in Canada & the United States, mistakenly treat the e as silent, a pronunciation rule that applies in English & French but not in German, producing the monosyllabic, porsh (/pɔɹʃ/).

It is pronounced, ''POOR-sha'' It is a two-syllable word and is pronounced just like the girl is name, 'Portia'. l have an uncle who is a toal Porschephile, owns two (races one), and if he ever heard me pronounce it as ''Porsh he'd have my ass.

In the USA american accent, it is pronounced Porsh.
Everywhere else in the world, including the maker and owner of Porsche pronounces it Por-Sha.
The U.S. is the only place that pronounces it differently. So the correct way to say it is ofcourse, the same way the everyone says it. America is pronounciation is wrong.

I've heard German native speakers explain it to me as ''porsh-eh,'' without much emphasis on the ''eh.'' It does not have a long ''a'' sound, more of a short ''e.''
Some owners of the newer cars say ''poor-sha'' to make it sound expensive. If they take extra effort to pronounce the name, u can also bet they think the engine is in the front. They will be trading it in for a Lexus in a couple years. :p
l say ''porsh'' around friends & everyday, & ''porsh-eh'' when l am in wealthier company.
