Which replacement brake pad works best with the porsche cayenne 2004

The one you buy at the auto supply. Those high price fancy named pads are no better. All brake pads are made to the same safety standards. Do not let anyone sell you semi metallic for a car unless you are a competition driver or pull or carry heavy loads or drive lot is of down hill that requires you to use a lot of brake.

Stick with the genuine Porsche pads or at least OEM (Textar or Pagid). Problems l have seen with aftermarket stuff: they do not stop as well, they squeeeeekkk and sometimes they are not quiet the right size so when you stop and then accelerate, the pads shift within the calipers and ''click''. (The last problem l see in Audis most often.) All brake pads are not the same in my experience.

OEM porsche pads r very good, albeit kinda expensive.

If u want more performance oriented brakes, pagid is a good choice (they offer lotsa different compounds from street to race also).

For maximum performance, performance friction r the best ive come across. Theyre wickedly loud though on the street.

and the guy that said all brake pads r the same is a complete moron. My son got abouut 3.5 trackdays out of hawk HPS is & is at 50% pad life on his performance friction ones after 10+. Not all brake pads r even close to equal. Crappy pads r cheap for a reason.
