The person below me posted pretty much the worst reasons to buy a porsche. Theyre all stupid, superficial traits a porsche has. Those have nothing to do with the car, only the pricetag on it.

The real reasons, in no particular order,
1) performance
2) reliability (in terms of track use)
3) race heritage
4) styling
5) the feel (my #1 reason by far). This includes things like steering tightness, brake feel, balance, & little things like how the door clunks closed (a porsche trademark).
6) the pleasure to drive that they r (esp the more difficult to drive ones, like the GT2s & 930s & such).
7) the Porsche club of america (ok, u dont have to own a porsche, but its still an awesome group)
8) trackdays!
9) class
10) the technology

l do not give a DAMN what JQ Public thinks..he/she does not in any way validate my purchase since l did not design or engineer the car. l am simply lucky enough to be able to own one.
