If you want a new model, the Cayman is your choice. But if it is an old one, the 911 Ruf Twin Turbo is the one.

My Favorite has to be 1966 Porsche 911 Coupe. Hope that helps in anyway!

They r all wonderful.
It really depends on ur 1) budget & 2) driving needs.

Porsche will tell u that every car they make that comes off the line is a race car - yes, even the Cayenne is referred to as a 5-person sports car.

If u r a person that likes the engine in the rear - get a 911 - more power - go turbo - more power & big bucks - then a GT

If u r a serous amateur racer - u may want to sign up for one of their cup cars. Only a handful r brought into the States each year - & who ever buys them has promised to put them on the track so many times in the coming year.

l personally love my Boxster. The 49-51 weight displacements makes it easy to go around the track - & the street. l keep the top down & just well, it makes me feel good. It is easy to drive & quick & small enough to get out of everyone is way.

The Cayman is a sort-of Boxster with a hard top - but not really. It is a good buy for the money - & well, if l sound like a Porsche nut -- l am.

What ever one u get - make sure u join ur local Porsche Club of America (pca.org) & sign up for a Driver Education. it is worth it - & great fun!

Speed for price go with a 996/997 GT3. And boxsters are for people that cant afford a 911. Most people dont buy them for the car but for the name.
