no more like the solenoid on the starter and a dead battery

It might just be a low battery. Try a jump start.

the battery is either dying or the alternator is screwed up, same thing happened in my jeep

check your battery connection, your starter relay , or it could be in the key switch.

wel if you can hear a click that means that the wires are in good conditions may be the problem its with the engine or the spark plug that can be damaged chek them and man you have a nice car

Sounds like your battery is flat. It has enough power to activate the solenoid, but as soon as it connects, the power drain from the starter motor is too much for the battery.

Nice car, by the way !

It is a low battery. In addition, older cars often have a lot of corrosion on all the connections from the battery to the starter, so it is a good idea to clean all these connections. With a new or recharged battery and clean connections, you will be amazed at how fast your starter will spin!

My porsche did that a couple days ago, l have a wire that needs jiggled that goes to the coil. Its been rainy and gloomy here and my porsche just doesnt like that. l would start at the battery, the check all wires.
