l have a 04 911 4S,l was wondering if it is faster then a db9 if l was to race a quarter mile run, my 4s is stock with quick shift the db9 is stock.

I'd say the 911 is the quicker car here.
But in my opinion the DB9 would be close behind in speed, but miles ahead in class.

l would think the db9 would win in a stock race, and is not that car like a v8 or v10? l will take the porsche, because first of all it is cheaper AND MUCH EASIER TO FIND PARTS FOR. both are quick, l would not mind having either :)

its Obvious its the Aston Martin DB9.

Porsche Carrera 4S - quarter mile 12.9 sec at 108mph
Aston DB9 - 13.2 at 110 mph.

The Porsche gets there faster, the Aston has more time to pick up speed. The Aston is simply too heavy. It does not matter if it is engine is bigger. Plus, all things being equal, cars that r rear biased will be better in 1/4 mile racing. And if u do a 0-100-0 test, the Porsche should obliterate the Aston.

Do not get me wrong, the Aston is gorgeous, l would love to have one. but the Porsche is faster.
