l wanna either buy a Porsche Boxster, or a 3 series coupe bmw, which one is cheaper to maintain, and overall reliability

reliability is about the same the bmw is easier and cheeper to wok on

Yes it is a Porsche and everything about owning a Porsche is expensive From insurance to repairs. Same with the Beemer if you have to get a part look to spend big dollars. A part for a domestic car like a oxygen sensor is about 80 bucks for the cars you're looking at about 400 -500 bucks. They are nice but very expensive to own

depends on what you think expensive means. a technical review on a BMW 3 series costs about 500 EUROs( *1.24 to transform into USD), while the same thing on a boxster costs about 1500 EUROs

buy the BMW 3 Series. the porsche is my dream car but maintenance is crazy. a sensible person would buy the BMW and they are more reliable.
