1997. The 993 series Porsches.

The last year for the venerable 993 Aircooled engine was middle of 1998. then June of the same year the 996 came out. The last aircooled engine car was purchased and still owned by Jerry Seinfeld. Hope this helps.

The last Air cooled 911 came out in 1998, it was a 993 series car. It was replaced by 996 in the same year.
