What is better on a two-stroke enigine, heavier on oil or gasoline

l have a two-stroke engine that asks for 50:1 gas:oil. If l do not have the tools to make an exact ratio, is it better to be richer on the oil, or richer on the gas?

Go to Wal-mart in the Boat Stuff Aisle and they have beakers for
just a few bucks.. not enough oil will burn your piston and liner
and make for a costly mistake.

Use more oil.not gas. Too much oil and you only foul the spark plug.replacement = a couple bucks. Too much gas and you will burn up the piston , rings , and cylender.cost to replace = big bucks. In the long run simply do the math to get the correct ratio of 50:1 mix. good luck and have a good day.
