l already have a 1990 Carrera 4 which l enjoy but fancy the idea of something newer. l can not help feeling though that the Boxster is a bit of a 'girly' car... should l stick with my 911 or change?
I'd prefer it to be a Porsche. They're simply the best in my opinion. 993.... possibly.....

911 all the way - but the Boxster is a sweet ride!

Does it have to be Porsche? Get the Bugatti Veyron.

Stick with the Porsche 911 Carrera 4. l think that is pretty cool german car to have right now and it is pretty fast as well.

l like both, but personally have to go with the boxster, my brother has the boxster S class, that car is hot and fast, but the 911 is sweet to. Go with which ever you want more.

My point of view is a Boxster is a 2-seater car, that will depends on u whether u want a 2seater or 4seaters. At least the 911 C4 can still squeeze in passenger at the back. Porsche in Singapore had launch their new 911 C4 last year & it comes with a Cabrio & coupe. And the new Boxster is coming in soon, why dont u go down & compare both cars before u make the decision? Your C4 is more than a 10yr old car, l guess it is time u trade-in & change.

Boxster only comes in cabrio, & cabrio cars tend to be more noisy cos of the cloth roof top. Whereas a coupe is make of hardtop. If u were to buy a 911, chose a coupe, at least u can open & close like a Boxster, but at least that will keep the noisy level on the road down in comparison to a Boxster.

Stick with the Carrera pal, Boxters are for people who can not afford a 911.

Boxsters r not for people that cannot afford 911s. They r for people who r just going out for joyrides. With the 49/51 differential it is a sweet ride to take to the track. They r newer than most 911s & the maintenance is not as much. They were made for those that loved 914s but without the stigma of Volkswagen attached.

Meanwhile, if u really want something newer - take a Cayman out for a ride. Also mid-engine, not a convertible. but a really great ride.

Added note: As for a Bugatti Veyron - l do not know many that have a spare Million+++ for a car that gets 3 miles to a gallon these days. Do you?

l would suggest purchasing a 1999 or 2000 911 cab, remember Bill Gates drives a 1999 silver one everyday--and he has a stable of porsche's..he luves it, l see him driving it all the time.

Porsches are never girly cars, the 911 is more of a pure car than the boxster besides the value increases by time as for the boxster very nice car and fun to drive but is getting too popular
